Paphiopedilum venustum ‘Blatant' x Paphiopedilum
sukhakulii ‘Emerald'.
Approximately 4 inches, light maroon and pale green growing
from a mottled leaf orchid. The "deception" to this orchid is it
often produces a second bloom beside the open flower but the smaller
one rarely, if ever, opens. Thus "Double Deception". But it does
happen, see the inset photo for proof! Two Lady Slipper orchid
flowers on a single spike.
